Would you like to organize a dance class in your home? 

Dancing with Carolyn! offers a variety of dance classes in homes. If you are interested in a different dance style, let us know and we will try our best to make it work! Here are some of our most popular classes: 

• Rhythm & Movement (18 mo- 5 yrs)

• Pre Ballet (2-4 yrs)

• Pre Dance (2-4yrs)

• Hip Hop Tots (2-4yrs) 

• Musical Kids (3-5 yrs)

• Ballet 1 (4-6 yrs)

• Jazz/Hip Hop (4yrs and up) 

 

 

To organize classes in your home there must be:

 

• a minimum of 5 children attending the classes

• a maximum of 10 children (4 years and under)

• a maximum of 12 children (5 years and up)

• a space that we can use - we have taught classes in condo rooms, finished basements, living rooms, play rooms and backyards (weather permitting).

 

Please note that parents or caregivers for children enrolled in the Rhythm & Movement classes will be required to participate.

 

What is provided by Dancing with Carolyn?

 

• Boys and girls will learn dance in a non-competetive, positive and inclusive manner. 

• We will bring our own stereo and music.

• We will bring our own fun props for the children to explore. Props include streamers, scarves, bean bags, books, and of course, our parachute! (NOTE: We will no be bringing any props to classes running in 2020 due to Covid-19).

• We will make sure that everyone has loads of fun!

 

How does it work?

 

1. Contact DWC and find a day and time that works for you. Decide on a number of weeks for the classes.

2. Invite your child's friends to participate in the classes.

3. Once all the details are confirmed, we will open online registration where you and your firends can pay for the classes. This will only be available to you and your friends.

 

Number of Classes:

 

Home classes usually run for 8, 10 or 12 weeks. Classes run weekly at the same place and time. 

 

Cost:

 

• $16/child/ 30 minute class when the term is 5 weeks or more.

• $20/child/ 30 minute class when the term is 4 weeks or less.

• $18/child/ 60 minute class when the term is 5 weeks or more.

• Full payment for all participants must be received prior to the first class.

• Additional cost may apply to areas that are not accessible by TTC.
