Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Haley began her dancing journey at the age of 4. She has trained in many dance styles such as Modern, Jazz, Tap, and National dancing however, Ballet has always been her primary focus. Her love and passion for Ballet lead her to audition for the Teacher Training Program at Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto where she was accepted and is currently enrolled in her second year. At age 10 Haley began to train in the Cecchetti Syllabus and has since branched out in the ballet world adding R.A.D and NBS Curriculum Syllabi studies to her education repertoire . Today she is working towards her Cecchetti Adv. 1, R.A.D Avd. 1, Modern Theatre Adv. 2 and National Dancing Associate. Aside from her everyday dance training, Haley has taken part in many other dancing opportunities some of which include attending the Quinte Ballet School of Canada Summer Intensive, Dance the Magic on Broadway in New York City and Newfoundland's Mosaic Dance Company's Affinity production. She has formally assisted and taught dance classes since 2014 and thoroughly enjoys working with students of all ages. Haley says that her favorite part of working with young students is seeing their growth and development throughout the year both technically and personally. She strives to create a fun, creative and inviting environment where students are able to enjoy themselves while also working to their individual full potential. As Haley continues through her education at NBS it is unknown where the future will take her but dance is who she is.  It is her love, her passion and she is excited to work with people and teach students who have the same love and passion for the art as she does.
